Shipping & Returns

Shipping & Returns Policy


All products have their own delivery fee, depending on their value, weight and size. Delivery charges are shown in the shopping cart. We ship within the UK and internationally, if your country is not listed as an option at the checkout, please contact me for a shipping quote. 

Please note any customs or sale tax charges for international orders are the responsibility of the customer.  Please be aware of any additional payments you may need to pay in the destination country. 

Most items will be dispatched using Royal Mail, items price under £20.00 are sent standard delivery, items priced £20.00-£50.00 are sent using the sign for service, items priced over £50.00 use tracked delivery service. Items that are too heavy or of a larger size will be dispatched using a tracked courier service. Our preferred courier service providers are Parcelforce, UPS and EVRi.

Should you wish to purchase more than one item we offer combine postage rates, please e-mail or complete the contact form for a combined postage quote. Alternatively, you can purchase all the items and once posted any combined postage saving will be refunded.

Products are usually dispatched within 48 hours; we will advise you if a product is to be delayed for any reason.  


We believe in using recycled packaging as much as possible, as we want to minimise any negative impact our business may have on the environment. So, for example we use recycled cardboard boxes.


We continually look for ways to minimise our impact on the environment and try as far as possible to use packing that supports this.  However, we must balance looking after the environment with ensuring your vintage finds arrive in tip top condition, so we do at times have to use bubble wrap.  We ask that you recycle any packing that your parcel comes in, bubble wrap for example can be used to repack thing you may send to friends and family, it is also great for using in a greenhouse as it is a very good insulator. 


We will continue to find different ways to package your vintage finds that both ensures they arrive in tip top condition and supports the environment.


All our items are original antiques or vintage. They have a history; therefore, they will have age and usage related imperfections, which we feel adds to their charm. We outline the condition of the product in the descriptions as far as possible and the photographs form part of this so before purchasing, please make sure you have read the descriptions and looked at the photographs.  We only sell items we would be happy to own.

We want all our customers to be happy with their purchases, so we do offer a 14-day return policy from the day you receive your order under the following conditions:

In the first instance, if you are not happy with your purchases, please e-mail or contact us using the contact form and let us know what the problem is so we can then discuss return options. You must let us know there is an issue within 3 days of receiving the item. Returns need to be completed within 14 days of receiving the merchandise.

You must take care of the goods and return them to us in the condition they were originally dispatched. We reserve the right to consider the condition of any product that you wish to return and make any deductions if there are indications that the product has been damaged after you accepted the delivery. If the item is damaged on return, then it is the buyer's responsibility to claim against the shipping company as we will not be able to refund on receipt of damaged returns. 

The buyer will have to pay for the costs of returning the goods to us unless they were received damaged, or if we made a mistake when packaging your order. We do not refund the original shipping costs; the cost of any returned item will be refunded with 3 days of receiving the item back. 

If an item is returned to us via Royal Mail or courier service as it was unable to be delivered, then we will email you and let you know we have received your parcel back. You will have to re pay delivery costs to have the item resent.
