A lovely vintage wooden soap box D & W Gibbs Coal Tar Soap. The shop counter box has its original label on the front and is stamped on the lid G & W Gibbs City Soap Works London. Inside the lid is a colourful original label. Stamped on one end is the word Light 4.s. The wooden box is simply made with nailed sides and base, the lid has wire hinges.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some light marks, scuffs and wear to the labels, this all adds to its rustic charm. Please see image.
