This is a beautiful vintage French fabric pen box. The box is carboard and is covered in a green linen fabric, the fabric on the lid has a printed border and swags of leaves. In the centre is a raised cameo of a lady very faded with age. Inside there is a cardboard lining which is covered in green paper and has two long slots.
In fairly good vintage condition for its age, the fabric has some marks and fading in places but other wise is in good condition. The box is sturdy, a few marks inside. This all adds to its French charm. Please see images.
