A lovely vintage French box stamped Amidon E . Verley on the lid. I believe this to be a packing box for starch. The box has a brass handle on the lid and two metal hook and eye clips on the front. The sides are stamped 20 bottles and the front and back are stamped Amidon A L' Ours Blanc. There is one open compartment inside.
It is in fairly good vintage condition, some knocks and marks as expected with age and use. Please see images.
