Antique Silverplate Box

This is a beautiful antique silverplate box with silk lining. The silverplated box has a cut out border at the bottom and a decorative edge top and bottom. The lid is padded, domed and covered in burgandy velvet. Inside there is one open compartment, both the compartment and inside the lid is lined in a pale peach silk. There is one long brass hinge.

It is fairly good antique condition, it does show some signs of its vintage journey with some of the silverplate worn away and some scuffs and fading to the velvet. The silk ling inside is worn in places. All this adds to its story and gives this little box vintage charm. Please see pictures.
