This is a lovely antique silk lined box with brass embossed lid. The box is wood and covered in blue paper. The lid is covered in repousse brass and has a floral design with leaves and swirls. Inside is one compartment which is lined in blue silk. The base is covered in black paper.
In fairly good condition for its age, some light wear to the paper and there are rips to the silk inside the lid. It has a lovely antique charm. Please see image.
