This is a beautiful antique John Pearson copper tray. The hammered arts and crafts copper tray is oblong and has copper handles either end. Stamped on the base on both ends JP.
It is in fairly good condition for its age. Some tarnishing to the copper which adds to its rustic charm. Please see images.
