This is a beautiful antique French bevelled glass trinket box. The casket box has a decorative metal body with raised swirls of leaves. The lid is bevelled glass with a decorative rim and front clasp. Inside is cushioned and lined in a pale green silk. The box sits on four metal ball feet. The base is covered in black paper.
In fairly good vintage condition for its age, the silk lining has some marks and wear. It has a pretty charm.
