This is a lovely Victorian leather jewellery box with key. The box is wood and covered in burgundy leather. It has straps on the lid but no handle, there is a front lock and it comes with one key. Inside there is a top tray which is lined in red satin fabric and has four small sections and a ring section. Underneath there is an open compartment. The sides open and have one lidded compartment each side.
In fair condition for its age, some knocks and marks to leather which adds to its charm. Please see images.
